Whether you opt for it in sedan or hatchback form, you’re sure to be getting one of the most comprehensive and enjoyable driving experiences on the road. Many drivers, however, struggle with the decision between these two trims; today we’ll take you through the differences and similarities between the Cruze Sedan and Hatchback models to aid your choice!

2017 Chevrolet Cruze Sedan and Hatchback features

First things first, due to the nameplate that both of these models claim, there are some great and advanced features that each brings to the table. The Cruze, like many vehicles in the Chevrolet family, includes a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing you to connect to wireless internet anywhere on the road!

In addition, both Cruze trims are outfitted with a base 1.4-liter Inline 4 engine (however, this is the only motor that the Cruze Hatchback offers) capable of producing 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. This helps both models be able to achieve 31 combined miles per gallon, adding more peace of mind than ever to your drive.

Differences between the Cruze Sedan and Hatchback models

Of course, the most notable difference between the Cruze sedan and hatchback is overall body construction. The Cruze hatch is built about eight inches shorter than its sedan counterpart, but even still, you’ll still be afforded up to 47.2 cubic feet of cargo volume on both models.

The Cruze hatchback is priced at about $5,000 greater than the sedan, and as such it brings some cool features to the table that the sedan can’t lay claim to. Some of these include:

  • SiriusXM® Satellite Radio
  • 6-speaker audio system
  • Steering wheel-mounted audio and phone controls
  • Carpeted front and rear floor mats
  • Cruise control
  • Many more!

Either way, however, both the Cruze’s sedan and hatchback trims are capable of providing you with a drive that is second to none!
